All specimens are ethically sourced by the artist, Emmalee. A lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast, Emmalee has been studying local butterfly migrations for over a decade. As butterflies migrate through the region, many of them die of natural causes. Emmalee spends many Fall days searching for fallen butterflies and dragonflies that are then given new life in the jewelry you see.
