Vase Earrings-round squiggles

Medium size vase earrings made with miniature glass vases and hand formed and hammered copper wire on nickel-free ear hooks.

I created the vase earrings in the spring of 2023 in anticipation of the jasmine that blooms in New Orleans each April and May. I wanted to find a way to wear the flowers so that I could smell them all day long! 

The beautify of the vase earrings is that you can put whatever you want in them! Dried flowers, fresh flowers, herbs that pack a scent like rosemary and lavender. You’ll be surprised at all the tiny little “weeds” and clovers that inspire bouquets for your ears. 
For fresh flowers, put a few drops of water at the bottom of the vases. There’s no need to fill them all the way up, just make sure the stems can all reach the water.
Some helpful tips for wearing the Vase Earrings: The more flowers/stems that are put into the vases, the better they stay in place as they nestle tightly together. 
Best worn with hair up or back so the flowers don’t get caught.
